Update: The minimum payout amount has risen from 50p to £1 since this article was written.
App Flame is one of many apps available on Android which reward you with tokens for playing games. These tokens can then be exchanged for PayPal payments, Amazon vouchers and a number of other rewards.
The games available tend to change fairly often but you will still be able to earn tokens for playing previously offered games provided you have already downloaded and linked the game to your App Flame account.
A signup reward of 5555 tokens is offered which means that you generally only need to play for a fairly short time to earn a 50p payout (available at 6399 tokens).
App Flame is great if you get lucky and find something you love playing, but if the games you find are not to your taste then I think it’s probably not worthwhile continuing as the payout is so low.

How does it work?
App Flame is one of many apps available on Android which reward you with tokens for playing games. These tokens can then be exchanged for PayPal payments, Amazon vouchers and a number of other rewards.
Initially each game you play pays out a defined number of tokens every minute but the amount of time between payouts increases significantly over time.
The games available tend to change fairly often so although the list available on install may seem underwhelming (e.g. only one or two titles) this list will usually change within a few days to a week. When the games do change, you will still be able to earn tokens for playing previously offered games provided you have already downloaded and linked the game to your App Flame account.
One nice aspect of App Flame is that it rewards you on first signup with 5555 tokens, meaning that you usually only need to play for a short amount of time to earn the necessary tokens for a 50p payout (6399 tokens).
Opinion
The quality of games tends to vary, and they’re usually freemium games which aren’t to everyone’s taste.
I’ve only accrued a small number of payouts for small amounts as I don’t tend to play most of the games for very long. When I do find a game I like and play a lot (I really enjoyed Gardenscapes for a while) tokens start being paid out much less frequently so it becomes less of an incentive to play.
App Flame is great if you get lucky and find something you love playing, but if the games you find are not to your taste then I think it’s probably not worthwhile continuing as the payout is so low.
