Treasure Trooper Winner Wonderland Contest & Christmas Dragon up for grabs!

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Winner Wonderland Treasure Trooper 2019

Treasure Trooper have a new contest each month. This time it’s Christmas themed and you can win prizes by completing offers. There are 25 prizes on offer ranging from a Nintendo Switch to 3 Gold Coins.

If you’re not already a member of Treasure Trooper, if you sign up via my referral link you’ll receive a $5 starting bonus rather than the $1 you receive if you sign up normally. I’ll also get you as a referral.

Here’s the detail from the contest page:

Our popular “Winner Wonderland” contest is back this year with all new amazing prizes! The top 25 earners on TreasureTrooper, during the month of December, will win the prizes listed below, but BEWARE… you are not guaranteed to get the prize listed next to your name. The top earner will have first pick of all the prizes and on down the line. Want to guarantee you get the prize you want? Aim for first place!*. If you would prefer, you can opt to receive the cash equivalent instead of the prize**. Platinum Coins will count as $1.00, Dragon Scales $0.15, and Arrowheads $0.01 towards your earnings.

As always, this contest has a twist. You will only be able to see everyone’s earnings on the leaderboard for the first and last five days of the month. For the rest of the month, you’ll see the standings, but not the actual dollar earnings. Yes, the suspense will be unbearable, so keep trucking along so you don’t get passed up!

To be eligible for this contest, you must have a forum account that is linked to your TreasureTrooper account from your My Profile page.

You also have the opportunity to claim a Christmas themed dragon by completing 90 cash offers and surveys.

Treasure Trooper Tip #13 : Interacting with your dragons

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Once your dragon reaches maturity you’ll need to keep interacting with it to boost it’s trust levels in you. This is achieved by “interacting” with them. There are 9 ways to interact with your dragon. These are:

  1. Flying
  2. Wrestling
  3. Tickling
  4. Swimming
  5. Scratching
  6. Tell stories
  7. Groom
  8. Hunt
  9. Play fetch

Each dragon has different likes and dislikes which have to be discovered by trial and error. For example, my dragon Manuel loves tickling but really hates swimming.

It’s worth mentioning that if you find one of their dislikes their trust will decrease, and if their trust decreases below 0% they’ll become depressed and be sent to the medical centre. It’ll then cost you 5 dragon scales to heal your dragon.

Halloween event live on Treasure Trooper!

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

The Treasure Trooper team released their Halloween event today which allows you to earn a Halloween themed dragon by collecting 1500 arrowheads. The official blurb from the email follows:

The race to Halloween begins! Now through October 31st, simply earn 1500 Arrowheads from your favorite of our 10 Dig Sites, and we’ll award you the freshly redesigned, limited-edition Halloween Holiday Dragon! Which dragon will be dressing up this year?

Treasure Trooper Tip #9 : Dragon Portal

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

The Dragon Portal can be purchased for 25 dragon scales at Cogg’s Coop.

Although this is a significant outlay, it allows your dragons to go on daily “quests” where you can find prizes such as gold coins and boosts for fights (tranquilizer darts etc). If you intend to invest in your dragons and enter fights this can be useful.

However, it is possible to get unlucky and end up with your dragon in the sick bay (requiring medicine costing 5 scales) so I tend to be quite cautious about sending my dragon in nowadays. I got the below quest twice in a row once – that was frustrating.

You sometimes find monsters to fight when you enter the portal which rewards you in cash if you win.

Note that you can only send one dragon on a quest each day.

Treasure Trooper Tip #2 : “Free” Dragon Egg

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Treasure Trooper allow you to earn one free dragon egg by using their “cash search” function. You’ll receive your free egg after 100 searches. It’s worth noting that only the first three searches per day count towards the free egg so it’ll take roughly a month and a half to reach the goal.

Treasure Trooper Tip #1 : Free Dragon!

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Every Friday night is Fight Night on Treasure Trooper where users can battle their dragons against one another via the site chat.

If you don’t already have a dragon or dragon egg it’s still very worthwhile logging into the chat function during Fight Night as you can claim your very own fully grown dragon for free!

To do this, enter the chat and type “egg me”.

Note: Eggs obtained this way have been “stepped on” meaning that the resulting dragon is “deformed”. Deformed dragons cannot be sold and can only participate in Level 1 dragon fights unless you pay 35 dragon scales to “de-deform” your dragon. The dragon still cannot be sold even after de-deforming.

Further information about dragon fighting can be found here.

This process and more details about fight night itself are discussed on the Treasure Trooper forums here.
