Job Spotter is an app which allows you to submit photographs of job adverts in the windows of businesses. These are submitted for points which can be exchanged for Amazon vouchers. You can also earn for verifying the submissions of other people.
I love this app; it’s fun and can be quite lucrative!

How does it work?
Job Spotter is an app by Indeed, the popular job listing website. It’s available on both Android and iOS.
Users download the app and take photographs of job adverts in the windows of businesses. These are submitted via the Job Spotter app and the user is rewarded with points which can be exchanged for Amazon vouchers.
Each point is worth 1 US cent with the number of points for each advert depending on a number of factors. Chains and large businesses tend to be worth less, whereas small or infrequently posted businesses make more.
In addition to submitting your own jobs, you can also earn by verifying other people’s submissions. For each set of submissions (roughly 20) you earn 10 points.
Opinion
This is definitely my favourite of the apps I’ve tried so far. It’s fun and potentially very lucrative.

As well as being a great way of making some additional income, I find it encourages me to explore my area in much more detail than I usually would which can be fun.
Redeeming your points for Amazon vouchers is extremely easy, as can be seen in the below screenshot. It can take up to two weeks for your voucher to arrive in your inbox but so far I’ve found they always pay out in under a week.
I don’t tend to do much verification of other peoples’ submissions as I don’t find it very interesting but a friend of mine does mainly only verification so it’s definitely worth a try.
