How does it work?
TopCashback rewards you with real cash for making your purchases through them. The amount of cashback varies but can sometimes be very substantial. Regardless of the amount, provided you were intending to purchase the product/service anyway you can’t lose with TopCashback as it’s completely free to use.
The process is very simple; once you have decided what you want to buy and from where you visit the TopCashback site and search for the company you plan to purchase through. If there is cashback available simply click on the “Get cashback now” button. You will be taken to the company website and you can shop normally. If your purchase qualifies, a few hours or days later you will be credited with cashback in your TopCashback account.
It can take quite a long time before the money becomes payable so it’s best not to rely on the cashback for paying bills or anything else important.
One thing to note is that on rare occasions the cashback will not track correctly (usually if you’re using an ad block program) so the safest thing to do is only buy from a merchant if it’s the cheapest/best regardless of the cashback. That way, although it’s disappointing to miss the extra cash, you won’t have lost anything.

TopCashback offers two subscription types: Classic and Plus. Plus members have £5 deducted from their earnings each year but gain a 5% cashback bonus instead of the 1% offered to Classic subscribers. There are also other benefits such as a better referral bonus.
Which subscription to choose depends on how much you’ll use TopCashback. If you remember to check it before making online purchases you’ll likely exceed the £5 earnings deduction fairly quickly and will benefit from the increased cashback percentage and other benefits for the remainder of the year. If you rarely use it or only use it with companies offering very little cashback you may find the deduction eats into your earnings too much.
Opinion
I’ve been using TopCashback for several years and love it.
Before making a purchase, provided I remember I will check whether I can get cashback from TopCashback. If not, I will check whether I can earn points through Swagbucks.
Personally, I’m a Plus subscriber and think it’s worth the yearly £5 earning deduction.
