Treasure Trooper Tip #8 : treasuretracker.net

treasuretracker.net logo

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

If you’re a Treasure Trooper user in the USA, TreasureTracker.net offers a fun way to potentially gain additional referrals to the site.

You simply write the URL of the site (treasuretracker.net) on a bill and register its serial number with the site. Whenever someone visits the URL and enters the serial number they have the opportunity to tell you the story of how they got the the bill, and if they sign up you’ll be registered as their referrer.

The original announcement post is here if you’re interested.

It’s no good for me unfortunately as I’m in the UK but it might be worth trying if you’re US based and so inclined.

Treasure Trooper Tip #7 : Fighting Dragons for prizes

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Once you’ve bought the training grounds at Cogg’s Coop for 25 dragon scales you can start fighting the dragons of other users. Winning will gain you prizes. As you win you’ll gradually move up into higher tiers which reward with better prizes. The levels are as follows:

Level 1 : 1-10 Wins – 3 Gold Coins — 10th win moves you to Level 2.

Level 2 : 11-25 Wins – 5 Scales — 25th win moves you to Level 3.

Level 3 : 26-50 Wins – $0.25 — 50th win moves you to Level 4.

Level 4 : 51-100 Wins – 1 Platinum Coin — 100th win moves you to Level 5.

Level 5 : 101+ Wins – $1.00 and 1 Pearl

Every Friday night Treasure Trooper hold a fight night which allows you to fight as many times as you want without any penalties for losing.

Additional information about dragon rearing can be found here.

Treasure Trooper Tip #5 : Partial rewards with Dig Site #4

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Most of the surveys offered by Treasure Trooper only pay out anything if you manage to complete them in full without being screened out which I personally find quite discouraging. The exception is Dig Site #4 which supports partial payouts. As a result, most of my survey time is dedicated to this dig site.

Interestingly, the partial payouts tend to be better on desktop than on mobile. This may be because the timer which determines how long you’ve been doing the survey doesn’t work correctly on mobile – I’m not sure.

Also, it’s worth checking the daily goals list as Dig Site #4 tends to be included about once a week, making this a fairly easy way to fulfil the dig site bonus requirements.

Ebay Tip #1 : Wait for “Sell for £1 max!” promotions

Note: This is specific to users of the UK EBay but hopefully similar promotions are available where you are.

EBay usually charges 10% of the final transaction fee for each sale. This can mount up pretty quickly.

However, Ebay often release promotions which allow you to sell for a maximum fee of £1 so it’s worth waiting. The site allows you to create drafts of your item so you can get everything prepared ahead of time if you prefer and the just hit the button once the promotion has been enabled.

I receive E-Mails whenever these promotions becomes live. These need to be activated and will then become active for the duration specified.

At the time of writing the specific details of the promotion are as follows:

Applies to Final Value Fees on up to 100 listings. Maximum fee per sold listing. Zero insertion fees apply. Item must sell within the first listing period. Private sellers only.

Treasure Trooper Tip #4 : Earn via the chat room

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

In my experience, the Treasure Trooper chat is always full of friendly, supportive people so if you’re the chatty type it’s worth checking out. The added bonus is that it can also be profitable as there are a variety of potential rewards for contributing.

These include free gold coins, scales, arrow heads and even cash.

The exact requirements for these are documented in the Treasure Trooper forum here.

Treasure Trooper Tip #3 : Free Daily Slot Spin

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Treasure Trooper has a slot machine game which makes it possible to earn rewards such as dragon scales, pearls, arrowheads and many other things. However, each spin costs 1 gold coin and you’re far from guaranteed to win.

Luckily you can have a second chance each day for free by using the Treasure Trooper Facebook app. This is accessible from the Connect > Facebook section of the site.

When a free spin is available a spinning gold coin will be shown at the bottom right of the app.

Treasure Trooper Tip #2 : “Free” Dragon Egg

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Treasure Trooper allow you to earn one free dragon egg by using their “cash search” function. You’ll receive your free egg after 100 searches. It’s worth noting that only the first three searches per day count towards the free egg so it’ll take roughly a month and a half to reach the goal.

Here’s the one I got:

Treasure Trooper Tip #1 : Free Dragon!

If you’re unfamiliar with Treasure Trooper, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Every Friday night is Fight Night on Treasure Trooper where users can battle their dragons against one another via the site chat.

If you don’t already have a dragon or dragon egg it’s still very worthwhile logging into the chat function during Fight Night as you can claim your very own fully grown dragon for free!

To do this, enter the chat and type “egg me”.

Note: Eggs obtained this way have been “stepped on” meaning that the resulting dragon is “deformed”. Deformed dragons cannot be sold and can only participate in Level 1 dragon fights unless you pay 35 dragon scales to “de-deform” your dragon. The dragon still cannot be sold even after de-deforming.

Further information about dragon fighting can be found here.

This process and more details about fight night itself are discussed on the Treasure Trooper forums here.

Swagbucks Tip #9 : Collect points on Hideout.tv

If you’re unfamiliar with Swagbucks, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

Hideout.tv is a video streaming platform which allows you to earn points for trade with a large number of cash back sites. Initially I thought it wasn’t possibly to partner the site with Swagbucks as it wasn’t an option on the “Loyalty Program Rewards” page. However, I have since discovered that this is possible using the following method:

  1. Open the Discover page on Swagbucks
  2. Open the AscendMedia offers
  3. Open a video on Hideout.tv via one of the AscendMedia links
  4. Your Swagbucks account should now be registered with Hideout.tv.

Thanks to the Swagbucks community for this tip which I discovered by reading through the comments on a site post.
