Swagbucks Tip #8 : Member Recognition Program

Swagbucks recently introduced a member recognition program which rewards you for reaching certain milestones. At the time of writing I’m on the Amethyst level and approaching Jade.

The rewards are mainly centred around SB rebates and bonus SBs but also offer shopping bonuses and Swag ups such as double points on your next survey completion.

Tutti Frutti Team Challenge

If you’re unfamiliar with Swagbucks, I discuss it in much more detail in my blog article.

The Swagbucks Tutti Frutti team challenge is now available. Once signed up here, you will be allocated to a team and you can begin earning points. If you earn 600 or more points over the course of the event you’ll receive a reward, with the reward you receive depending on how well your team as a whole performed. The Swagbucks team describe it as follows:

All members who participate and contribute at least 600 points to their team’s total will receive a SB bonus in the form of a SB Swag Up Rebate! Members of the 1st place team will receive a 100 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 2nd place team will receive a 50 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 3rd place team will receive a 25 SB Swag Up Rebate, and members of the 4th place team will receive a 10 SB Swag Up Rebate. The Swag Up Rebate will be made available by June 15th at 4PM BST and expires on June 30th at 7:59AM BST.

20 Cogs is a service which rewards you with cash for completing offers but only pays out after 20 offers have been completed. Although I was initially nervous that it would fail to pay out, I can confirm that it pays out quickly and I found this to be a good way of making extra money.

Summary

TopCashback rewards you with real cash for making your purchases through them. It’s completely free.

Cashback can be either withdrawn as cash (via PayPal or BACS) or as gift cards by depositing your cashback into your “Reward Wallet”. TopCashback give you a bonus for withdrawing as gift cards, with the total bonus varying based on shop.

Swagbucks Tip #5 : Team Challenges

The Swagbucks team periodically run team challenges where, once signed up, you are allocated to a team and you can begin earning points by completing surveys, “discovering” offers and many other things.

Ways to earn points during the Spring event

If you earn more than a specified number of points over the course of the event you’ll receive a reward, with the reward you receive depending on how well your team as a whole performed.

The rewards issued vary by event. See my previous post about the Spring team challenge for an example of the rules and potential prizes offered for taking part.

One easy way to boost your points is to complete the flight search tasks within the “Discover” section of the site. Although these are only worth 1 SB each, they tend to add a significant number of points (20 in the Spring 2019 event). The best thing is that you can complete these tasks every day!

Swagbucks is one of the longest running reward websites. It has its own digital currency, unsurprisingly called Swagbucks, which you can earn in a very large number of ways. This currency can then be redeemed for cash or gift cards.

The main ways of earning currency are:

  • Watching Videos
  • Answering surveys
  • Shopping
  • “Discovering” products and services
  • Web searches

You can also upload your receipts to earn additional currency – although I can’t take part in this myself as it’s not currenly available in the UK.

The Swagbucks team offer an associated mobile app on Android and iOS, and also offer the SwagButton which is a browser extension that gives easy access to each of the main categories and alerts you if a particular website offers Swagbucks on sign up or purchase.
