Pi, the digital currency can not currently be traded as it’s still being developed but it costs nothing to get involved and is extremely simple to manage. Pi mining is currently easier as a bonus is given to “Pioneers” (early adopters).

Sign-up is currently only available via referral – if you’re interested my referral link is here.

The app is available for Android and iOS devices and can be managed entirely through the apps. To continue mining Pi you are only required to tap an icon within the app once per day and it will continue mining by itself for 24 hours. The other major advantage is that the actual mining is done external to your phone so you can close the app and it will continue, meaning that battery usage is extremely low.

The Pi Network team have recently released the beta version of their Pi Node software which will be used for validating transactions in the future.

I’m not sure exactly how things will turn out with Pi Network but due to the very low effort required I think it’s worth being involved and see what the future brings.

If you want to find out more check out this list of FAQs by the Pi Network team.
