Ebay Tip #1 : Wait for “Sell for £1 max!” promotions

Note: This is specific to users of the UK EBay but hopefully similar promotions are available where you are.

EBay usually charges 10% of the final transaction fee for each sale. This can mount up pretty quickly.

However, Ebay often release promotions which allow you to sell for a maximum fee of £1 so it’s worth waiting. The site allows you to create drafts of your item so you can get everything prepared ahead of time if you prefer and the just hit the button once the promotion has been enabled.

I receive E-Mails whenever these promotions becomes live. These need to be activated and will then become active for the duration specified.

At the time of writing the specific details of the promotion are as follows:

Back to School Team Challenge Signup now live on Swagbucks

The Swagbucks Back to School team challenge is now available for signup and will begin on 12th August at 12 AM PT (8 AM for anyone in the UK).

Once signed up here, you will be allocated to a team and you can begin earning points. If you earn 600 or more points over the course of the event you’ll receive a reward, with the reward you receive depending on how well your team as a whole performed. The Swagbucks team describe it as follows:

All members who participate and contribute at least 600 points to their team’s total will receive a SB bonus in the form of a SB Swag Up Rebate! Members of the 1st place team will receive a 100 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 2nd place team will receive a 50 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 3rd place team will receive a 25 SB Swag Up Rebate, and members of the 4th place team will receive a 10 SB Swag Up Rebate. The Swag Up Rebate will be made available by August 17th at 4pm BST and expires on August 31st at 7:59am BST.

Treasure Trooper Tip #4 : Earn via the chat room

In my experience, the Treasure Trooper chat is always full of friendly, supportive people so if you’re the chatty type it’s worth checking out. The added bonus is that it can also be profitable as there are a variety of potential rewards for contributing.

These include free gold coins, scales, arrow heads and even cash.

Treasure Trooper have a new contest each month, usually centering around collecting one of the currencies used by the site. This month it’s arrowheads, and the site is paying out bonuses when you collect specified numbers.

Here’s the detail from the contest page:

Treasure Trooper Tip #2 : “Free” Dragon Egg

Treasure Trooper allow you to earn one free dragon egg by using their “cash search” function. You’ll receive your free egg after 100 searches. It’s worth noting that only the first three searches per day count towards the free egg so it’ll take roughly a month and a half to reach the goal.

In the past I’ve reviewed Fitplay, Cash Alarm and App Flame and I can confirm that this is once again the same app with different branding.
