I’ve been using Swagbucks for a while now and have just hit 50,000 points!
Over time I’ve been posting hints and tips to help other people get the most from the site. This post collates all of my previous Swagbucks tips in one (hopefully handy) place.

Money RAWR is an Android app which pays you for downloading and playing games.
In the past I’ve reviewed Fitplay, Cash Alarm, App Flame, Pirate Coinland and Coin Pop.
I can confirm that this is once again the same app with different branding.
If you’ve used any of the above apps then you know what to expect. If you’ve never used one of them and would like to find out more is recommend reading my review of App Flame as basically all the information remains valid :-).

The Swagbucks Apple Season team challenge is now available for signup and will begin on 16th September at 12 AM PT (8 AM for anyone in the UK).
Once signed up here, you will be allocated to a team and you can begin earning points. If you earn 600 or more points over the course of the event you’ll receive a reward, with the reward you receive depending on how well your team as a whole performed. The Swagbucks team describe it as follows:
All members who participate and contribute at least 600 points to their team’s total will receive a SB bonus in the form of a SB Swag Up Rebate! Members of the 1st place team will receive a 100 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 2nd place team will receive a 50 SB Swag Up Rebate, members of the 3rd place team will receive a 25 SB Swag Up Rebate. The Swag Up Rebate will be made available by September 21st at 4pm BST and expires on October 1st at 7:59am BST.

Receipt Hog is an Android and iOS app which rewards you for uploading your receipts. Receipts from other members of your household are also accepted.
I’ve been using Receipt Hog regularly for about 4 months and have only recently earned enough coins to claim a £3 Amazon voucher. However, I think I’ll persist with using Receipt Hog for now at least as the rewards do increase as you continue levelling up so I’m hoping this is a slow burner.

AppStation is an Android app which pays you for downloading and playing games.

Google Opinion Rewards is an Android app which periodically asks you to complete very short surveys. So far most of the surveys I’ve been asked to take part in have been a single easy to answer question.
Although each survey is worth very little (usually around 6p) it adds up fairly quickly and involves almost no work.
So far I’ve been using the app for three months and have answered 18 very short surveys, making £1.61.
The upside is you make this almost without noticing that you’re doing anything. The downsides are that each survey is few and far between and earnings can only be spent in the Google Play store. It’s also worth noting that credits expire 1 year after earning them and can not be used for partial payment.
Personally because of the extremely low effort I think I’ll continue using the app but won’t expect to be rich any time soon.
